GOVERNANCE
Safety governance is built on a structured system
that ensures consistent oversight across all
regions . Safety and corporate social responsibility
( CSR ) indicators are reviewed monthly at both a
regional and central level , as well as by regional
safety committees .
Safety governance is underpinned by a
structured framework ensuring consistent
oversight across all regions . Performance
is monitored through consolidated indicators
reviewed monthly at central level . Governance
is reinforced through regular CSR reviews with
shareholders and an annual independent audit
of safety indicators , supporting transparency ,
accountability and continuous improvement .
At regional level ,
safety indicators
are managed by
operational teams
and reviewed monthly
through regional
safety committees .
These committees
ensure alignment with
global standards while
addressing regional
risks and priorities .
At local level , daily
safety checks are conducted by operational teams
in production , maintenance and laboratories .
Country and plant quality , safety and environment
committees oversee site - level actions to ensure
compliance with regional and global safety
requirements .
