ADVANCING CARBON REMOVAL

WITH CARBON - XTRAS

This tracks GHGs and monitors soil

carbon changes in near real time . It also

forecasts carbon storage and emissions

up to 2050 , based on management

practices and environmental parameters .

The technology provides actionable

insights that enable farmers to optimise

crop management and improve yield

potential , fertiliser eff iciency and

overall sustainability .

Sensors have been deployed at two

pilot farms while the app undergoes

further development . We expect to scale

the trial area signif icantly in the 2026

crop season recognising its criticality in

supporting farmers in adopting low - carbon ,

regenerative practices while maximising

productivity .

Carbon removal is key to decarbonising

our business . CarbonXtras , developed

by the James Hutton Institute , is an

advanced measurement , reporting

and verif ication platform that uses

on - site sensors to collect real - time ,

location - specif ic data .
